How To Change Consumer Habits to Buy From You

UNDERSTAND WHAT CONSUMERS ARE THINKING - OVERCOME THEIR FEARS

We are all creatures of habit, aren’t we?  The challenges most restaurants and many retailers face now is that Covid-19 has forced all of us to hibernate and change many of our previously normal habits which may have been buying from you.  This includes where and how we “dine-in” at a restaurant or buy food prepared to “dine-in” at home.  In order to get many to feel comfortable buying from you again or for the 1st time, it’s important to understand what they are thinking to offer solutions to their concerns.

THESE ARE THE QUESTIONS THEY ARE ASKING THEMSELVES RIGHT NOW AND FEARS WHICH ARE:

  1. What does social distancing look like at your place?
  2. Can we still enjoy a meal together like we used to?
  3. Will limited capacity mean I won’t have a place to sit when I get there?
  4. Can we sit at the same table together?
  5. What is ordering curbside or take-out like with you?
  6. Will the meal and portion size be the same ordering Take-out or Curbside as it was Dine-in?
  7. Will they come out to my car wearing a mask if it’s Curbside?
  8. Will your staff, restrooms and atmosphere be using CDC protocols & wearing a mask?
  9. Can I order beer or alcohol curbside and if so, what kind and what does the container look like?
  10. How and where should we order food & beverage for or Birthday and Anniversary since we definitely want to celebrate during those times either at home or dining out.

  1. Invite them to try your place for Dine-in, Curbside, Take-out or Delivery in a very personalized way
  2. Invite them during a time when most everyone is going to either dine-out or order food for home to celebrate, which is their birthday. Birthdays typically yield up to 6x higher response rate
